Who is Jelena?

Jelena Matvejevskaja is an Estonian pianist, who began a music career by an excellent example from her teacher Olga Zryanina. Personal achievements and inspiration made her continue education in Tallinn Music High School under guidance of Maigi Pakri and Ivari Ilja. During that time she was successfully participating in various competitions and master classes, what helped her to choose music as a professional orientation for life.
Jelena continued her education at Estonian Academy of Music & Theatre where she obtained Bachelor and Master degree with Cum Laude.
Jelena regularly performed in various Estonian concert halls and got many prizes in competitions. Among them I prize in chamber music competition in Rakvere, grand-Prix in chamber music in Valga, I prize between Estonian Music Schools in 2005, 2007 and 2008, I prize in Radio 4 competition. She has also performed with Narva City Symphony Orchestra, Tallinn Music High School Orchestra and attended a great amount of master classes with such remarkable professors as Arbo Valdma, Niina Serjogina, J. Drzewiecki, Gabor Eckhardt, Pavel Nersesjan and others.
In 2012 Jelena moved to Spain to study at Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music where she formed a chamber ensemble involving musicians from Spanish National Orchestra. During that period she was arranging music concerts where she performed as a soloist, as well as a member of the chamber music ensemble.
In 2015 Jelena moved to UAE to broaden her professional experience and develop her skills at teaching. As she has been always interested in chamber music she continues working with various artists and developing classical music.
